we will end it in 1 month.
You must have pics of you doing the valve cover, not shipping it off to trg or any powder coating.

post pictures of the process of you tricking out your valve cover.
we will all decide the winner on oct 30th.

Hmm i'd be game, i was going to have one done but i'll try to fab one, just found another member with a spare oem k20 cover

problem with the fg2 is half the VC is covered in the bay!

 

lets push the limits of what you can do to a valve cover..

a powder coat everyone does, think about shaving, adding fittings, expletive it.. someone go nuts.. grab some sheet metal and make one from scratch

So with that being said, the winner will likely be someone who went beyond painting a clean valve cover scheme??

Other than crankcase ventilation fittings for a catch can, how much more can be done to a VC?

 

there should be rules so the poor and unskilled *cough cough me*..have a chance against...vise versa of what i just said

 

this is what i have so far, Y8 w/Z6 cover, white. i tried doing black raised lettering by masking the lettering with vaseline, didnt work...got frustrated and just stripped it and painted it all white. i've always felt a little defeated though...so maybe ill give it another try.

 

i was gonna sandblast and redo mine anyway soo i guess ill post up pics on here when done

 

How this competition should work is:

Participants should post a before picture no later than 10/8/06
All covers should be finished, installed and posted no later than say 10/22
A poll will be built and the one with the highest votes wins...

just a suggestion

 

there should be two winners one by voting(the peoples vc) and one that you(tshirt guy) just think is best
