The European Accord. America's TSX.

Did I win anything?

Crap, that's right.

Is the 2.4 in the Accord a K series?

Yes, it is a variant of the K24.

There's no need to bump your thread, especially only 5 minutes later.

Hmmm....... I was planning on an Si Sedan, but the added luxury of the Accord and possibly some mod potential has me thinking again.

The Accord's K24 has does have potential, but that would probably also require swapping for the RSX-S head for any serious increases.

Civic Si sedan? I wasn't aware that they were going to make one... Then again, I don't particularly have much interest in Civics. (Too small for my tastes.)

I thought the Accord Euro R was essentially a USDM TSX?

Yes and no. RTC has that turbo kit coming out (which I'm getting installed in 16 days) Cstyleaccord has started a 600hp build, completely rebuilt internals, FI, etc. Lots of things are interchangeable throughout the TSX and RSX-S engines. And, he has fabricated his own harness that will work with Kpro that hondata failed to crack consequently.

Yes if you want a fast N/A car, you could consider a k20a2/k24a4 engine, but its going to cost a lot of dough.

Well, I suppose I should have made myself more clear.... Yes, you are completely right msedacca. I was actually only referring to NA mods, although I didn't mention that. FI can be added to virtually any vehicle, and because of that virtually any vehicle has potential. I simply assumed DougNuts was talking about NA mods.

Nothing against Cstyleaccord or his car, but I'll believe it when I see it completed, running and tuned. You see, everywhere on the internet you see threads about people who start their "600hp build". (And everybody says 600hp, too.) Most of these people either quit part-way through, never start at all, or drop off the face of the earth, never to be heard from again... much less update their thread with any progress.

How many people have claimed that they were in the process of building a 600hp Accord? And... how many Accords actually have 600hp?

Sorry philadd I didn't real mean that post to come out as argumentive, my bad.

Your right however, a k20a2/k24a4 combo has a lot of potential for a NA beast, no fault there, but a lot of stuff I've seen on k20a.org has seen that turbo'ng them is pretty hard. (going on there about people starting 600hp builds and never finishing them)

I mean, we can argue all day long about cstyle's turbo build, so its pointless, but I'd have to side with him getting it done.

No apologies needed... I wasn't trying to be argumentative either. And just remember, it's nothing personal with cstyleaccord, or anyone for that matter. In regards to my comments about 600hp builds, it's not simply K-series motors I was talking about, but any K-, F-, or H-powered Accord.

I can see how my posts can come across as argumentive. Please realize that is never my intention. Okay, well, there's been a couple times when I have intended it to be that way...
