Default Lowering Springs: should I go with Tein S-tech or Pro kit?

I am debating which one too choose...I have koni yellows at the moment on 00 teg GS...

the only thing is that which one would give a comfortable firmness for the street but still I can push my car into corners...the Tein S-tech or the Pro kit

but with the Tein S-tech should I go with medium or soft?

I want my cars stance to be even and dont want to suffer from any sag....

so which one would suit my needs the best?

I don't know anything about the Tein, but I put pro-kits on my car a few weeks ago. The stance looks real good and it's real even all around. I actually think it dropped my car more than the claimed 1.25" drop, especially in the rear. I went from a 4 finger gap to a 1 finger gap in the rear, which seems to be about 1.75" - 2" drop. There's still a 2 finger gap in the front, but since the rear is so much higher stock anyway, it looks real good.
The ride is a little bit stiffer than stock, but The lower center of gravity is great. Even with the stock tires on it took a lot more to make them squeal around corners. It's not harsh or jarring over bumps, but it definitely is more fun to drive. Pro-kits should go real well with the Yellows.

i had the tein s'tech medium before.. they were a little too soft for my tastes sometimes. i would've gone with the tein s'tech soft springs instead if i knew about them. tein springs are progressive rate, but the mediums go from VERY soft to VERY stiff. the soft springs go from okay soft to okay stiff.

drop was perfect. it's about 1.2" drop on the ITR, and about 1.5-1.75" drop on regular integras. there was like a half finger, maybe no finger gap between all 4 wheels.

Yeah that was my main concern the front being a tad higher then the rears which makes it look kinda awkward. But is it really noticable? or just a slight difference? can anybody clear this up?

But here is what the prokit looks like on an integra. This is from my friend Carlos site

Does the front really look that much higher then the rears????

here is his site check it out

Hey In7egrity

So if i decided to get the tein s tech springs will it lower the car about 1.5 inches? and will i need a camber kit? How is the ride with koni yellows compared to stock? is it harsh?

when i first installed the s'tech springs, the rears were slightly higher than the fronts but over time they settled down evenly. as for the ride, on normal roads it's okay.. but when you hit bumpy roads and potholes you're really going to feel it. judging by the spring rates, i'd go with the tein s'tech soft springs.

So the tein are going to drop my car almost 2 in? and there is like only 1 finger gap all around? thats pretty low.....are you currently running any camber kits?

Also, are these tein springs going to lower the my integra more so then the H&R sports or pro kit?

I've heard the pro-kits lower the rear more than the front. While judging from these pics the car looks balanced overall, I think having the front look a little lower than the rear gives the car a more aggressive stance. Not to mention I think it looks like that stock anyways (less wheelgap in front vs. rear)

sorry to say but that looks wrong. my friend from florida thought that he installed his springs backwards because it was so noticeable I have heard they handle well but still there are other springs that at least lower all four corners evenly, and handle well. looks of the prokit on the dc2=

On a stock integra, the rear is significantly higher than the front. Just stick your hand under there and you can do a rough estimate and tell that there is 1-2" more clearance between the front bumper and the rear bumper. On my car the pro-kits did lower the rear slightly more than the front. But there is still more clearance in the back than in the front. The front is not "riding high" or anything. It gives the car a more balanced stance overall. If it left the rear higher, I think it would look goofy. I love the way my car looks. I didn't notice the difference in height until I checked the finger gap for the front and rear. I told my roomate, who helped me install the springs, about the difference and he said "REALLY?!?!" He thought it looked great and didn't believe me until he checked it himself.

Hey

I dont know if this is correct but it seems for the 3 gen integras that it is normal from stock to have the fronts a tad higher then the rears. This is supposidly due to the wheel wells in the front being cut like a bit higher giving the illusion of the fronts being higher then the rears after lowering with the prokit??

So would you think the comptech sport springs would be a bit better in lowering evenly? cause i heard that the drop they gave was almost like the prokits?

My question is how much of a drop does these springs give after they settle? also, if i were to use the koni yellows with the additional lowering feature could i technically lower the front another .5 inches and the rears by 0.25? or will the springs settle out to a nice 1.5 inch drop?

I want my ride to look something like this GSR i found on the web? Will my car turn out like this just by using the springs or did you think he lowered it more using the koni?
