i never understood why the lights are always taped off.

 

if they crack they peel off wit the tape

It keeps from getting crap on the track from broken headlights.

I met this guy about 2 months ago at a Volvo dyno day, it is a truely badass car (can't tell from this pic but he's a dang good driver too)

Did he have the I-4t motor (it looks like there might be a huge intercooler in there) or a v8 swap?

Looks nice... those wheels are pimp as fawk.

It is a 242 of some sort.... the trunk is from a newer model... but the front end is from a 81 (?) or older.

It appears (might) to be a 78GT or 79GT model.
