It's controversial.

It's controversial because the improvement is seldom quantifiably measurable.

The driver might "feel" better but it's hard to connive a situation where you can get good lap times somewhere, and then put the fender braces on w/no other changes and then go out and get more lap times.

With older cars like the EG and DC, I think that you will get some firming up of the chassis that will make you feel better in high G situations that involve rapid transitions.

I would not bother with newer cars like the FG.

You also would do well to check your CCR and other rules to make sure they are legal for whatever it is that you are thinking of doing.

 

I've been thinking about grabin a set but I've only seen them on ajracing.com, hoping to find them a little cheaper some where else, but if not oh well..

 

they sell them on ebay if your not set on a particular brand

Well, on the bright side, if A&J Racing is selling it they are going to have an opinon of its efficacy. You can give them a ring and ask them about whether or not it will help in your situation, and they will give you an honest answer.
