Mista Bone, I'm with you. I paid 5 bucks for mine (had it for a year)... it's plastic, flexible .. . doesn't break. . definitely the way to go... anything else would more than likely break due to many variables.

That price for hpart.com does not include the mounting harware. I went to honda and asked how much it was and she told me $60. I was like umm no thanks. I'm not sure of what all is included but i'm guessing all it is is metal retaining clips and screws. I'm sure you can find that stuff somewhere else. If anyone has done this let us know.

the stock flat black lip looks good on any color scheme, it looks alot cleaner to me, and I personally like the contrast between the painted body of the car and the flat black lip.

My car does nothing but contrast with colors. But i still think it looks good. I want to get the oem front lip, i just want to know what i need to install it without buy the kit from honda for $60. Like i said if anyone has done it let me know.

When I first painted my car, I used the OEM front lip, but I went to home depo, and looked around for ideas on how to mount it, so I wouldn't have to go to the dealer for the expensive hardware. I ended up spending about $5.00 on all the necessary nuts/bolts and oversized washers, and it held up great. I used the same hardware when I changed out the lip and threw on a fiberglass Spoon copy.
