Anyways... I didn't do as great as I wanted to... got 3 points on the riding portion. (Stupid figure 8)

100% on the written part.. but the written part is a joke.. so no bragging can come from that.

The only cool part is that on the last portion of the evaluation, they make you do the curve. Well when everyone was done, one of the instructors came up to me and said that he was highly impressed with how I took the turn and how fast I did it. He told me that about 3x, man did my chest swell up w/ pride..

The instructors were bad ***...

Tommorow, get my license and bike.. hooray for MSF!

I did horrible on figure 8 but i had to ride my 06 gsxr 600 because they didn't provide 250's where i took it. Also had only been riding for 1 week.

Don't worry you won't fail... only one person failed and that's b/c she just was terrible. I mean.... pretty bad. The instructors are very good at teaching you what to do.
The evaluation is a figure 8 in a box then a swerve. Then a quick stop and then taking a curve.


Some of the people that passed.. dont know how they did.. .i'm scared b/c if they can pass....

lol congrats you guys should see my picture on my liscense, goofy smile since I renewed/got my endorsment the same time. it literally looks like this

I think the MSF is an awesome thing, but i agree with you here. There was a girl in my class who dropped the bike 10+ times before the test and had trouble doing anything, riding just isnt for her. They passed her still though and her test was pretty sloppy.

PS: I was the only one in the class to get 0 points

Well i was also on a GZ250 so the figure eight was probably easier, I cant do one on my gixxer at all

did anyone fail in your group? 2 did in mine. one guy dropped the bike in the figure 8, and a woman sucked at the test and them went berserk when she failed. she was a laughing stock.

anyways how will you get the license tommorow if you just passes? dont you need the waiver? ours was supposed to come within 2 weeks, but it took mine a month. I just got it a few days ago and will take it to the dmv tommorow.

 

the figure 8 was suprisingly easy for me.

i stopped 2ft too long though.

One lady failed.. when the instructor told her what she did wrong.. she was like "I didn't mess up there!".. thats when I turned and left the group.. I didnt want to hear it. One lady dropped her bike (if you drop your bike, you automatically fail) but she was done so it didnt count against her... but she started throwing her gloves.. it was kind of funny... kind of..

At the end of the course... they gave me this little waiver thingy (looks like a business card) saying that I passed.... all I have to do is go up there say I want to get a motorcycle license (make sure it says "motorcycle also" instead of motorcycle ONLY") and BAM!.. i"m legal. Can't wait.

nah man you dont need to practice, i took the course and peeps passes that never even got on a bike before you will be alite....
just take the course

 

I was about to say, how did you fail. I got one point on the test. It was the best in that class, and I was the youngest person there. Some of the people who took the class had experience riding, some for years. No one actually failed in my class.

Although I got only 1 point, I do not think its good. My point was for stopping 1 foot over my mark when I did the brake test. That one foot could send me into a car or something.

A friend of mine took the MSF recently and failed. She also dropped her bike once during the practice. I dont think riding is her thing.

 

Actually when I took the MSF some people did fail cuz they layed the bike down haha.

 

i think i got bonus points for scraping the pegs leaning through the curve test....
