i have a 4-2-1 dc ceramic header which cracked today, this is the second time it has cracked, i took it to a muffler shop, damn 160 to weld them...i was like uuh okay i would rather get new ones...and he would charge 35 bucks if i were to bring the header by itself...anyway...he was telling me that my car is running rich, a sensor might gotten triged and now im running too much gas and that why the header will get soo hot that it would crack...is this true???

Why not put your money into a decent header if you're going to spend all this money when that megan header cracks you'll just have to buy another one and by that time you could have had a good one.

All I'm saying is I've heard a lot of bad things about them and it would be worth your wile to save the extra money and buy a comptech or any other good brand header. but good luck with your megan header

Yea DC does suck, I have seen many more megan headers last longer.
HAHA his thread reminds me of that guy that tried to argue that ceramic headers were like super dupper insanely strong and added like 25hp, anyone else remember that?

JASMA is not a header!!!!!ARRGH! Thats like saying, " yo check out my C.A.R.B. Legal header" JASMA is just the smog legal headers on the other continent
ive never had a problem with a DC header. ive heard all these "horror" stories about them cracking, but my 4to1 has never cracked and it helped make 272 wheel horsepower along with a jackson blower on my car.

It is a pollution and noise standard not a manufacturer.
To the OP: DC headers are questionable quality. My DS 4-2-1 SS header had nice mild steel flanges that rusted. You get what you pay for.

. They dent super easily and yield little to no gains over stock. Stock JDM ITR header for the budget builders.
