Free wheels + day off = decent outcome (56k need not apply)
So, I work in a shop and have a policy that if something is left for over 2 months with no contact it becomes shop property. That being said, I got me some semi-beat free Borbet Type E's and well they're not exactly what I would want in a wheel but you can't beat free. Decided to spray them a more desirable color because the silver w/ polished lip just doesnt appeal to me. Went out last night to complete the work, took some time to do it right but I like the outcome

First things first, all good projects have to start off with one of these.
The tools for the night. (I've used the trim paint before, I love the finish it gives)
What I had to work with, This is after scuffing with steel wool/600 grit.
The ghetto paint "booth"
First coat of primer, three to go.
Oops, almost forgot the center caps.
Three more coats, three cans down.
Finished 4th coat primer.
First coat of the Black Trim Paint.
Centercaps this is after coat two. (Shiny, but dries a bit more dull.)
Fourth coat of Black Trim Paint. Yay. (Excuse the lighting...it sucks)
Very happy with how they turned out, Waiting on my tires to arrive from Tire-rack as we speak so I can mount em up at the shop and see how it all looks. I'll update this with pics of them on the vehicle when I'm done.
Vehicle Before...
Should have my tires here tommorow 205/50/15 Dunlops, Should have pics the same day they go on...provided it doesnt rain.
Should look decent, guess I'll find out.

Yeah, wen't with the Direzzas for now... didn't want to spend too much money to put tires on wheels I got for free.

So am I, Tire-rack says the tires will be delivered tommorow so pics should be up sometime after 5pm EST tommorow. Can't wait!
