Default Rear clunking noise

ALRIGHT guys, this **** is driving me nuts. The rear makes a LOUD clunking noise all the time when going over a bump. I am on Neuspeed Race springs and Koni Yellow shocks. At first I was on the lowest perch and did not have the rubber spring isolators. I re-did everything today and now my rears are on the middle perch (stock perch location) and have the upper and lower spring isolators. I even put new bumpstops in. The damn clunking noise is still present tho. Any remedies to this?

Shock with no lower rubber isolator

Parts I bought hoping to fix the clunking noise (bumpstop and rubber isolators)

Lower rubber isolator in

Top hat with rubber isolator going in (can also see that I raised it to middle perch)

Any suggestions at all?

a clunking sound in the rear could be many different things, on mine it was a end link that snapped in half, and i've heard some people got the noise from rear trailing arm bushings that were cracked. instead of buying new replacement parts, you should try and pin point the noise exactly.

neuspeed uses a lot of "dead" coils that are tightly spaced. they will easily collapse on themselves, taking up space. its just how they are designed to acheive their spring rate with the diameter wire. that may be what youre hearing.

If not the springs than the shock...first of all...neuspeed race suck *****...too soft and I dont like the way it compress like one sitting on top of the other once the car is drop from the jack...and when you go over a bump...those coil that's sitting so close together will spring and compress real quick causing to make that clunk sound.

Second of all...If you run your Koni like the way it is on the picture, consider yourself luck...cuz the cup supposely installed upside down not right side up....Install this upside down you lucky that the cup didn't strip right through the circlip...and dump your car to the ground...or bumpstop.

uh, im not sure what car that shock is for, but i think the perch is fine.

the fronts on civics and integras have the perch oriented like a "bell", but the rears are like a "cup." but that doesnt look like a civic or integra shock either.

The car is a 92 Accord EX. The cup install like that, according to the instructions that came with them.

if any of the rubber bushings in the rear are old or even original from htat 92 accord, i'd replace all of them. I'm not sure if the upper rear arm on the 92 accords had that balljoint as well, that could be it too.

could be wheels/tires?
