Default My rex in progress............ pics

Here she is, I got her for a $1,000.00 and hope to bring her back to life. It needs alot of work but I am willing to do it so this should be fun. Here are a few pics.

Up dates on every page!!!

Here is how I brought her home.....

The inside is kinda dirty.........

The B16A that is as of now very healthy at 250 psi compression

There is a little damage I will be to fix and I think I am going to repaint it this same color

It came with a lot of goodies.

Sway bars
Integra brakes

Well had some time to clean her up a little

This was my 25$ seat that came with the sliders, I just had to buy a new cover for $80.00

As for now these wheels will be going on it. I know there cheep and ugly, but they only cost me $50.00 and they are aluminum and are so lite. I will be painting them tomorrow, black.

I also had to de-rice it a little bit, projectors ewwww, APC ewww.

Thanks for looking, I just got the motor out and will be freshening up the gaskets a little. The tranny was out and the shift links were GETO, but I already got them.

I was told the tranny was bad and when I took of the drain plug and nothing came out, I now know why lol.

This will take me some time, I have to work on mine and my wifes car too.
teaser:

No, I went to the paint shop a few days ago and looked at some colors. The color, it reminds me of what comes on the 97 Mitsubishi Marige. So I got a price on that at 100$. The 06 Si is kinda that color also but it was $550.00. lol

Got a guick question, I pulled the injectors and they looked fucked, I have a set of D16A6 ones. My question is can I use them on a B16A? They are also peak and hold.

Man, your car looks like it's got alot of potential in it. What kind of wheels are those? They look like the OZ version of the lancer, but minus the OZ lettering on the rims. and I dont think the injectors will work, but I could be wrong.

I don't know what kind of wheels they are I just got them for the weight.

Yesterday I got some of the parts off, that's when I ran across the injectors, only 1 of them had a filter the other three were wide open.

I really need to know if the D16 injectors will work. I was told once that all Honda injectors are the same cc.

Have you checked the FAQ section about the injectors? It might say if you can use them or not, I'm not sure though. Good luck!

thank you sir. I hope to get some more of the motor apart. I still don't know if I am going to get the easy to find LS tranny, or get another B16A tranny.

yeah u can use the a6 injectors....if im not mistaken all D and B series injectors are 240s...i know the h22 injectors are like 280 or 310 something like that...u could even use the h22 injectors if you wanted to.

oh yeah...nice project...my ED is the same color...the guy i bought it from painted it and said that the color was from a CRV...more than likely im gonna keep everything on my car from the moldings up the crv blue...and im gonna have the bumpers and everything from the moldings down painted the oem color of the car...celestial blue pearl.....two tone EDs make me cream my pants

The valve cover cam that way and I am not a fan. My type-R v-cover is on order.
