Default What is a respectable 1/4 time in a GSR w/ just CAI??

I know this is a ridiculously n00bie-ish question, but I have never really gotten a straight answer on it.

I have a 2001 GSR... AEM intake, and that's it.
I pulled my spare out (negated the full tank of gas, maybe) and ran consistent 15.4-15.6's.

My friend Christian (Integraholic) has the same car (minus the PS belt, most of his interior, and muffler) and he ran a 14.5

Am I just a bad driver, or is he an exceptional driver??

I was thinking about letting my friend drive my car, and I drive his car.
I really hope I wouldn't need a tune-up... my car doesn't even have 9,000 miles on it yet.

He has done the exact same things I have done.

I noted the exceptions up above.
Nothing but free mods for him, aside from the AEM, and Sprint springs.

Shouldn't have a problem hitting low 15's. But there are always other factors.

other factors like I haven't figured out how to launch yet.
That's a big one for me.

I had only been on a drag strip 2 times in my life before the night I ran the 15.4

or...
I was picking my nose at the light, and then sneezed, and my finger penetrated my brain, causing me severe brain damage, which resulted in me buying a big *** aluminum spoiler, 19" chrome wheels, and an APC sticker on every available surface of my car.

One night at the strip I had 15 runs [slow night], about 12 of these were 15.0-15.1, I hit 14.9 the other two, and I am a mediocre drag racer.
