Default correct way to put piston rings?

after many unanswered questions I had about my gsr having low compression w/ jdm itr pistons. I'm thinking I may have put the piston rings on incorrectly, because the car should be at a higher compression then what I have now. I use oem rings for my pistons the part number 13011-pr3-003. i'm sure i put the oil rings on correctly, but the middle and top ring may be on upside down. on the edge of both the middle and top rings there is a letter "T" that can is etched in. I assume this means top, and that is what is facing up when they're on. can some one let me know the correct way to put on the oem rings? or know where I can find my answer? Or if I did put them on right, and the problem is something else?

Please tell me you honed the cylinders before the install of the new rings.

You keep posting this and you keep giving half the information needed to even attempt to diagnosis the problem.

Lets add some info:

- You put the pistons in, got bad compression, pulled them back out to check the rings.
- You're hitting 175ish on 3 cylinders and 210 on another
- You had some type of knocking
- You have yet to do a leak down to see where the leak is occurring
- Have you allowed break in time yet???

You heard a knock? thats probably not good. check your bearings. Did you get new bearings? if not then get some oem or acl bearings. If the surface is all fucked up under the bearings then you need to get them shaved. then you would need to get os bearings
