rsx type s. its being discountined so it should hold value well and its a lot nicer interior/exterior than the civic IMO.

Si, not only is it more for the same money, its new and still uses the k-series engine so parts will be plentiful.. just need to wait a bit for them to redesign for the now even more cramp engine bay.

If it was EP3 vs RSX Type-S the question would already be answered

Performance is the same. Everyone talks about how handling is so much better with the Si but 95% of buyers will never AutoX. Price is pretty much the same now. I bought my 06 type-s for $22500 about 5 months ago which is less than a fully loaded Si. It all comes down to looks and IMO the 05-06 DC5 looks WAY hotter.

I would get an Si. Its a newer platform that handles better. Plus the fact that its not a hatchback and its HP is actualy listed under 200 would make insurance cheaper.

Keep in mind anything named "Civic" is forever gonna be associated with theft... at least in the insurance companies eyes!

go ep3,i have one and its funnier to drive then the type-s and new si.the interior of ep3 is the best also by a long shot.but type-S is better stock...but if u plan on doing a swap and fixing it,the ep3 becomes a better circuit car.

for example stock ep3-R and dc5-R on a circuit the ep3-R is faster by .300 of a second and is cheaper.so in the long run ep3 is a better car.after test driving a 05 type-S and going back to my EP3...boy my car is fun.and they dont make em anymore so there really nice to have.

mmmm... kinda depends on if you like leather or not. I like the seats in the new Si. The RSX seats are nice, but too lux for me. Plus, I want a white one with BLACK interior...

But exterior aesthetics HAS to go to the RSX (type s of course).

Thats because it has the b series motors that were in the integra fit in the CIVIC platform... RSX's dont nearly get stolen like the integras did.

statistically, the RSX is has suffered more theft than the Si. I would take the new Si, it's a better value and offers better driveability in my opinion. the type s is a nice car, but i could feel the rigidity in the new Si. plus, the LSD in the new Si really digs the car out of corner so much better.
