I think only one person in the states has this on their car, but they do not post on the forums.

This hardtop isnt practical for a "street" car nor would it look good with out the "race car" look.

Yeah. If I were to get it, the top would go onto a strictly-track-only S2000 that I might plan building.

Wow.

^ LoL at the EVO off course.

Yeah that thing would look absoloutely hideous on a street car without the accompanying exterior/aero mods.

For those that don't know, this hardtop also requires their rollcage. It is needed to provide a mounting point for the top.

Didnt notice that.

That thing looks hideous as it is IMO. It makes the OEM clean S2k look like that Gillet Vertigo race car off of the GranTurismo games.

Maybe its jsut me, but I like the OEM or Mugen CF hardtops.

Yeah, that S2000 looks ugly imo. Personally, I think its because of the paint job, graphics, wheels, ect.

On the other hand, the Spoon Sports S2000 looks sweet

Wow. I can already see myself at the track with this. I couldn't find the rest of the pics to this set. If anyone has them, please show them off

to a point.

any 6 point roll cage will work. you pretty much have to clamp the hardtop to the roll cage for extra support.

personally i dont understand why they couldnt just weld the hardtop to the car and make it permanent.

I think a better color would probably help it out like Berlina Black.

I like it, dont get me wrong.

But Im in agreement with the fact that that color scheme doesnt really make it look all that good.

But one of those tops on a Berlina, the Yellow in the previous picture, or maybe even the Grand Prix White, would look hawt.

But 6500 bucks though??? Id rather get the Mugen CF myself. But thats just one mans opinion.

i wasnt aware the moon craft was CF, i thought it was frp.

but even then they would some how have to renforce it with a metal plate so that it could be welded.

Don't forget the Varis front fenders.

I would surmise that the rules of the various Japanese racing series like Super Taikyu wouldn't allow for a whole lot of cosmetic body modifications.

for me anyway, this is the reason why im too much of a fan of the top. Where looks are concerned, it makes it look like a Porsche. Not that i hate them i love Porches...just want the S to remain looking like an S.
