Automotive Rig Shots
Since there are several other photography threads on here I figured I'd start one with only "rig" shots.
I know there are more guys on here that use them as well, so lets see some samples guys, dont be bashfull.
special thanks to the boys at http://www.automotiverigs.com for a little assistance!
this is my first attempt at it.

rigs are an important tool to automotive photography, no one really gives out their design of the rig since each rig is unique. how else do you expect to get a photo like the ones given? yeah we're ****** ricers that put camera stands on our car so we can take pictures to post on HT. i gaurantee most of these shots are in magazines, if not, then you can tell which ones suck, it just takes practice.

while the rig and camera are the tools used to getting the shot, it's the person behind the camera that creates the great shot itself.

Also, still have to photoshop the rig out.

No rig here, just risking my life like Ben hanging out of sunroofs and windows.

I'd like to get into a rig just to see what I could do with it. Its an interesting area of automotive photography that I think would be fun.
That's a BMW, not a played out Honda by the way. All of that wah wah rant was based on the assumption we all take pictures for the sole purpose of posting on H-T, or that all of our pictures are of played out Hondas. Some of us take pictures for other reasons and they happen to find themselves to H-T because other people might want to see them or they might help answer someone's question.

Yea, you can push it, just have the shutter as long as you can.
So any clues on how these rigs are mounted to the car (not suction cups).

I have one where we were pushing it, and you can actually see the dash showing zeros. It was funny when we looked at it. It was just for fun to see how it would come out so nothing lost.

Homemade please. Ha.
