Here is a header that we just finished up for a buddy of mine. I was going to put it in the FI forum, but figured id get more discussion over here.
This is a prototype, just kinda whipped it up in half a day.

Spec:
K24 TSX LONGBLOCK
IPS K24 Spercharged Cams and valvetrain
JRSC @10psi
TDF Header, 2in primaries, TDF collector
MSPi Exhaust 3in


He had a JRSC header and a borla exhaust which we switched to our custom 3in exhaust and TDF header.

Turbo Dave thinks its going to work great , even with the huge pipe size. but i will have dynoes tonight to see if it worked or not. If not, then we'll try something more "mainstream" no pun intended

RESULTS
Here it is:

Baseline is 260whp, TDF header we got 283whp out of it.

Temps were EXTREMELY hot today. Dyno room was 106 degrees , Intake air temps could not get below 115 Degrees F.
NO VTC WAS TOUCHED, just a/f an timing



thats a 23whp gain and 8 ftlbs of TQ from our exhuast and header. Not quite the 300whp we were shooting for, but im happy with the gain. We will try a different style header in a few weeks. 2in primary header.

Was the 262 baseline with the TDF header and 3 in exhaust or was that with the DC long header and borla exhaust?

Any dyno comparison graphs?

 

262whp was with the DC header and borla exhaust.

we hould have OUR numbers in about 5 hours when we put it on the dyno. stay tuned.....

what do you mean "even with the huge pipe size"? its a supercharged 2.4L. ANR headers for NA b series use 2" primaries and a 3" collector.

I thought headers for supercharged apps worked well if they had short primaries & early merges *shrugs*

at 2am we had issues with his KPRO. dynoing tues, i got home at 7am so i can barely think right now

What kind of issues?

 

if that collector is 3" all the way through its to big and you will have a loss in velocity

 

we'll see if it works, if it fails, then ill post the graph anyway, as i said, we made it quick, see if it works, if not, back to the drawing board

 

One things sure... its not pretty.
