Default PIC Performance Coilovers

I'm contemplating whether I should get the ground control coilovers or the PIC performance coilovers for my 1991 Crx.
I already use the ground controls on my 1990 civic si with 550/650 lbs rates and love them !
anyone have experienced these coilovers besides b16_madman ?
Im planning on getting the R3 Coilovers with 12/kf - 14kr.

sweet drop too !

not to put down PIC but if you've already had a system and loved it why switch?

I wanna try these out ! I already know ground controls are great !
The H&R's I have dont have adjustable dampening, and have soft spring rates..

Then you did something wrong, or should at least back that statement up with evidence.

Well, that was amusing I'd like to start reprimanding him, but I know it won't get anyone anywhere. If JIC, D2s and K-Sports are better than Ohlins to him, that's enough of an idiotic response for me to ignore him.

Also note in the first post there are two different sets posted - the very first picture shows a set of Apex's, which are fixed damping / height adjustable. The third picture is a set of Selects, which are damping adjustable / height adjustable, distinguished by the gold adjuster **** up top, which is used to adjust rebound damping (these are single-way adjustables, compression is effectively fixed).

to the OP. Isnt 12k front and 14k rear a bit much? especially on a light crx? Have you had experience with something this stiff? I have 12k, 10k waiting to go on my crx and im afraid theyll be way to stiff so i got some 8k springs too. Thanks

I had 8k springs from TEIN SS on my crx..it was too soft (bouncy) and if you wanna lower your car alot, you need stiffer !
I have Grpund control 550lbs front + 650lb rear on my civic and love it !
Plus the stiffer , the car will handle alot better and there is no squatting on takeoff.

You seem absolutely dead-set on believing this, so it's not worth arguing about.

Have you driven a car with 850lb/975lb springs on the street? Because according to your theory there, that should handle better than what you have. Yet, in actuality, the car would handle worse, even if you ignore the fact that it would be airborn half the time (I'm not joking either, take a ride with me if you don't believe it). Stock ITR suspension works better or "handles better" if you prefer that than those rates for street use.
