Clutch Pedal squeak, I can't get rid of it.
It seems to be coming from the spring area of the pedal. I have tried Wd-40 and it does not work. Anyone know of any good lube or spray that will get rid of the squeak. It happens when I push or release the clutch.
Greasing up the clutch pedal does wonders to remove any noises.
I did this in my 90 Integra and, with a few other tricks, I had an almost-stock pedal engagement even with an ACT Xtreme PP.

my clutch pedal squeeked too. i replaced the clutch and the noise went away. i looked at my throw out/release bearing and they were toast.
When I blew my clutch last year in my GSR the dealer fixed it and my pedal squeaked a lot too. It went away temporarily if I drove my car hard, but once something cooled down it went away.
I took it back, they fixed it, but I forgot what they did

I used a teflon based spray lube at all the pivot points and it went away. hasn't been back. name of the spray is Tri flow. also, you sure the noise is not coming from the clutch slave cylinder area, too? good luck. I hate working upside down under the dash.

I have a nearly identical problem with mine in my Si(R). But another thing is that I get this high pitched 'rubbing' sound (or high pitch humming).. when driving in gear, but it goes away right when i press the clutch in.. is this also related to the throwout bearing?? and is the replacement cheap/warrantied, or should i just replace the entire thing?
Yes I am sure the sound is coming only from the clutch pedal. I can "see" the sound coming from the spring on the clutch pedal. I guess I will try the teflon spray tommorow.
It may be in the slave/clutch fork area also....the grease dries up in there...mine squeaked there...couldn't pin point it till I had someone else push the clutch in while I listened.
Acura said it was a Throwout bearing that was dried up. They replaced under warranty for me. along with some other stuff that might have caused the squeaking down there. I will get more details soon.
-Aoib0t, who can't hear any squeaking and the cluth pedel feels "ITR" ish now.
