Default Dyno of Jun 3 after taking to another tuner and headworks

As you guys are aware, I brought my car to this tuner who gave me 167whp and 110 trq! On my JDM ITR with CTR pistons, Jun 3 cams, valves and retainers. 5zigen header and a chambered rsr exhaust. Tuned with crome. The old tuner was blaming my cams!

The new tuner ported my head, bored out my tb to 64mm. Now I have 186whp and 131 trq. Now at least I can appreciate the car. H3 guys are cool and definitely know what they are doing. I think the engine has more to give so I am going to upgrade my header but the exhaust that I will be fitting is a HKS silent power unit which has a silencer built into it. I'll try and remove the silencer. Car does not detonate at all.

If you would of made this additional power without the modifications then I would be really impressed and would fully agree the previous tuner did a shitty job, but after those mods your numbers are now inline with expectations and should not be overly impressed with the new tuner. With your setup I have seen the 200hp number and should be closer to it in my opinion without any more mods.

Yup you have a point thats why I think my header and exhaust need some work. But the old tuner gave up and said it was the cams. At least the new guy placed his neck on the line. Our deal was if my car did not get close to 190whp then he would pay for the dyno cost and the port and everything else would be free!

5zigen header. I plan to upgrade it to a custom header. 1.75" primaries, 2" secondaries and 2.5 collector. I will fit a b16 tranny brace support so that the primaries can safely clear the oil pan.

When you get the new header, you're gonna have to re-tune.

Good luck

great decision with changing your OLD tuner

goodluck

btw: the "ONLY" dynojet here in the P.I. reads lower than most of the dynojets elsewhere

SMSP/Toda/DTR/RMF would all be a wise investment.
