Default project candy cane 91/88 crx dx/si

so i decided to make a project thread, since there isnt anything engine wise im doing yet i figured it would be better in the apperance thread.
i dont have any pictures of it from when i got it but ill start with the earliest pictures.
i have an 88 si that im parting out and using for parts myself and a 91 that is my daily driver. honestly i dont know much about engine so im not fully sure what you would consider the 91. it has a dx body i think and an si block, and the 2 point fuel injector... thats all i really know
so on with the pix
so i think this is the earliest picture i have
other than the spoiler that is what it looked like when i baught it. z3 fenders and gay flat black painted si rims. im thinking to taking the spoiler off agean though, havent decided
the new sohc zc

for those altezza hatters you will be happy to know that i put the stock tails back on, although the one is cracked and the other has a chip off the side...

here is a picture of the parts car next to the daily driver. since the previous picture i had put on halo black housed head lights and black clear corners.

i had also put on the tail lights.

this exhaust was on as well when i had baught the car, it sounds nice, but probably going to be replaced but not in the near future

i got the rims off the parts car and cept the flat black center caps, i think they look a lot better on the car.

the engine when i got it.

engine now, just a new valve cover, im thinking of sanding down and re-painting my old one.

swapped the front bumpers, and still need to hook up the fog lights, and screw up the si lip so it doesnt sag. also need to see if i can pull the frame out a little bit, it doesnt line up real well.

well thats all for now.
things im hoping to be diong soon are an mpfi swap and i should be getting an aem cold air intake soon. also hopefully painting it this summer.

let me hear your oppinions, im sure many will think its rice.

yea i know the short air intake is gay as hell... there are so many things about the car that make me want to slap the previous owner for... but i should be making a trade for an aem cold air soon

i like my tail lights. thinking of getting a wail tail spoiler. i should be swapping the hatches soon because i want the rear wiper, so it will probably stay on that hatch when i take it off. it was just a cheap 30$ ebay spoiler so not much of a lose to me just a stupid decision

i like the z3 fenders, but the one is chipped and the one is cracked so im probably going to swap the fenders as well. i also need to get some clips for the 91 turn signals, if you noticed there not being held on to well...

i beleive that the previous owner survived it somehow with w/e parts he could get his hands on... considering the body is a dx, the block is an si and the head is from a 92-95 civic dx... its obvious it was hit on the passanger side, and the air intake is gay as hell!!!

if nothing falls through im getting an aem air intake soon, mpfi swap, going to swap the fenders, and put the hatch from the red car on, have to get someone to hook up my fogs, get all the interior peices put in, and figure out how to do the wireing to get the rear wiper to work for when i switch the hatches.

any suggestions on a decent fix? i like having a sun roof, makes for a nice breaze considering there is no a/c but it sucks when it rains or is too cold out, and it looks like ****. do they sell sun roof kits so i could re-do it or something?
