Default I finally did it.

I was moving my bike from the back to the front of office, braked over pebbles (I guess) on the blacktop and dropped the bike.
Jeans = my left knee is seriously fucked up. Im @ the office so I got a trashbag full of ice. I think my brake lever is bent a tad.

Sorry, dude - could be worse

Pay attention to you knee; if it's unusually sore then go to the Doc. Joints aren't to play around with, y'hear?

If there are any open wounds, it needs to be cleaned up real good to prevent infection. Are you up to date on your shots?

Thanks Andrew. The ice is starting to numb it so I feel better. Earlier when I was typing this I was getting queezy...funny thing is I was on the phone with my gf the whole time (ear piece).

Surprisingly my palms are fine. Unfortunately this is my bad knee, torn lateral meniscus from football (against Vick!). I think I might go home early tonight and get **** wasted. We'll see how mobile I am in an hr.

You were on the PHONE while riding your bike? Ear piece or not...anything that takes my concentration off riding isnt something im about to do.

Exact same thing happened to me a month after I got my bike. Luckily it's a 94 POS and I didn't give two ***** - no damage anyway. Then the second time was when I was bleeding my brakes and some how it tipped over....snapped the clutch lever tip off.

I hope your knee is alright man. What shape is the bike in besides bent brake lever?

Eh, it's just moving the bike across the parking lot. You're right though, my concentration wasn't there 100%. All I can do is just look back and laugh at how dumb I was (>5mph! ). Sigh, I guess my gf will never let me hear the end of that one either.

Thanks bro. I feel like I don't need any more sympathy, I really need to get ridiculed and flamed for this one. Hahaha.

I'm about to go back outside if I can walk on this and check the bike out.

Good point sir. I feel really stupid. Maybe not as stupid as .RJ flipping his bike doing wheelies in 30 degree weather.

I just found some yellow rubber gloves in the office kitchen. Filled it up with ice.

OUCH. Sorry to hear about the drop/crash. But if the only damage to the bike is a slightly bent lever, that's good!

Besides...knees heal. And chicks dig scars.

I'll buy your bike for five bucks.

I can't figure out if I should keep walking on it, or just straight ice it. I was icing it at work, then it got very stiff. Maybe I need to do the whole range-of-motion thing?

I'm back home now, took 4 tabs of ibuprofen...bout to drink a pint of Sapporo. No tequila in the house. Or crazy chicken.

Best idea - go see a doctor.

In the meantime, keep your leg elevated so the swelling drains. Keep it moving, but don't move it a lot. Just small motions.

When I sprained my back, I was popping 800mg of Advil a day.

I've already got NES, SNES, N64. Bought them all overpriced, refurbished a few years ago. I also have the famicon from when I was a kid.
