Default Hondata reflash, intake, exhaust, VS comptech supercharger

I need some opinions on both setups
I am either going to
Get

Hondata Reflash
C.a.i
Catback exhaust

OR

Comptech exhaust eventually with bolt ons

anyone no a ball park figure what times a 06 type s could put down
with the reflash and what time it could put down with the comptech supercharger...
and i mean 1/4 wize
i also understand that when u have the comptech supercharger installed u send the ecu to them and they tune it so there isn't any other tuning like with turbo's

what u guys think?
thanks

I would go with the intake first of all but eventually go with the supercharger. Don't waste the money on a reflash either, when you buy the Supercharger you can have them send you a programmed k-pro with it and then the options are endless with the right tuner. Plus once you reflash it's there, over and done and the only way to change it is to send it back to hondata. With the super charger you can re-use the CAI. After the SC then you can order or have an exhaust made to complement it. If you are eventually going to go forced induction don't put on parts that when you do bolt on the SC that you will have to remove, sell and replace because they won't work with the new parts. With this path you won't back track and you will still have a CAI, Hondata, and a custom exhaust with a supercharger. As far as tuning is concerned there is some invloved but with a SC you have a set amount of boost unless you change the pulley. This eliminates one of the major variables in tuning.

I dont think the exhaust do as much for the 05+ as they do for the 02-04. I say no to this set up. I/RH would probably be a little better unless you have SMOG issues. If that is the case I would just go with the CAI

Dont really have enough info here. The least you could do is say what type of header, (i.e RH or shorty). You seem to like comptech, they make good products

I would say high 13s if you can drive worth a damn.
Actually look at this

Not exactly true. I believe the reflash they do is a "one tune fits all" approach. This is why the kits also come with a k-pro option because a lot of people run the reflash just to get the car to a tuner. I believe the reflash is safe, but if you want the best set-up possible you should get k pro and have it tuned. It will be safer and most likely make more power. However, this is second hand info because I do not have a SC, I have a friend with one and I ask him the same questions every time I see him.

Since you are deciding between bolts ons and a SC, I think you need to decide what you really want to do before you waste any money on parts. Deciding between bolt-ons and a SC is a big jump. There are certain bolt-ons that will work better with a SC. So that is your first step. Decide whether you will be N/A or F/I

That picture is from CRSX. I got it from Mateo's thread

I would go with all the bolt-ons first. Get a nice CAI, Race header, exhaust, and K-Pro, then see how you feel about the overall performance of the car. The good thing about just doing N/A type basic bolt-ons and then going S/C, is that all of your bolt-ons will not only work with the S/C, but, the S/C will benefit from it as wall, as S/Cs love the added breathing capabilities. And the good thing about K-pro is that it will always be the **** regardless of which route you decide to go
