Suppose you are running stock (240cc/min) injectors at 50psi and replace them with prelude (290cc/min) injectors... What psi would you run at to compensate?

I'm guessing that b/c they are ~21% bigger than stock itr injectors, you'll lower fuel pressure by 21%.....?

So instead of running 50psi, you could run 39.5psi when going from 240's to 290's?

 

run them at the stock Prelude VTEC fuel pressure setting.......which i belive is about 40psi with the vacum hose connected tot he FPR.....

I have 97+ prelude injectors in my car right now, and yack just tuned them using the vafc. I'm still at stock ITR pressure. Beotch is leaned out like crazy though.

 

do the job correctly and get some form of electronic fuel control, when you begin to lower fuel pressure the spray pattern suffers

It will be about 35psi off vacuum. Possibly too low to spray well, but might work.
