Default Sir Spoiler Installation

I bought an Sir spoiler the other day and I understand it takes a little modification to adapt onto a 96-97 model, but fits perfectly onto the 94-95. Mine is a 96 and was curious to know what you have to do before I jump into this project....

It seems to fit fine....I don't know why the guy said it required modification...I'll post pics after it's painted....I need to find a red jdm emblem for it though....

You don't need a red JDM emblem. It looks clean that way.

What color is the car?

I wish I had a 5th gen. I think that is the coolest spoiler ever, i've seen it for years and drooled.

Sorry I can't help.

hey man...i have the exact same spoiler on my accord...some pics of it follow...

but as for the install, the 94-95 trunk is just slightly less curved than the 96-97 trunk...i put a dab of some kind of cream (can't remember what it was exactly now) and put it on the far left mounting bolt...i then lined it up where i wanted it and then used that cream to mark where i wanted to drill...after drilling the first hole, i then used the same marking technique on the remaining bolts and then drilled those after pressuring the wing into shape to mark the locations (it's not that far off shape, so it's really no big deal)...it sounds confusing, but it really isn't that big of a deal...you'll get it when you try it for yourself...

this is with the front lip and wheels installed, but same car...

hope that helps buddy...

I have the same spoiler under my couch right now. I got it in flawless condition for $320, that includes shipping. The best part is, it's already painted to match my car! I'll post pics when all my exterior goodies are bought and installed.
