Maybe he wants to compare what he was quoted to what other people pay? No reason to be a dick about it.

its differen't for everybody no matter where you go due to age, zip code, past claims, points on record, car year, mileage....etc. the best resource is to actually get a quote.

without knowing his record, points, location, type of coverage, how many cars, plans, insurance group, marriage status, condition of his car, miles on the car, any number here is pretty much useless.
how long does it takes to take a online quote? 15 minute?

werd.
Insurance is like a box of chocolates...ok...so it's not...hahaha
As a purely theoretical statement, with no scientific data to support it, it is my guesstimation that the average yearly insurance on an S2000 is $2800 per year.

I am stating a fact that no matter how many ppl tell you how much they are paying, you will still not know how much you will be paying. There are way too many factors that play into insurance prices. The easiest way for him is to call his insurance provider and find out. Its a 10 minute phone call at most. You will get an exact number.
Also the same question has been asked a few times before and insurance rates have ranged from 500ish to over 8k a yr. Do you really think that helps? NO!

In all honesty i have never been in a single wreck involving another car, i totalled one EG hatch before by sliding off the road at high speed, but its mostly a big line up of speeding tickets and street racing tickets. I tend to get into this race car mood when i get behind the wheel half the time.
