DIY: Repaint Clear coat on carbon fiber hood
So, me and friend wanted to repaint his clear coat on his carbon fiber hood...tell me what you guys think.
Before:
After:
The carbon fiber hood clear coat was getting bad so we start by using razors to remove all the clear coat. It was the easiest and most effective way to take it off rather than sanding it down and risking the "carbon fiber" not showing. Once we took all the clear coat off, we just used some light sand paper and grinded down the whole hood.
Then followed up with some wet sanding. Used cleaner. Pretty much self explanatory after that.
