Hey there, I might be getting some black subzeros from another person on HT because he lives very near me. I want to know if it is possible to sandblast the black rims and paint/powdercoat them white? I called a shop and they said they can do it, but depending on the material like a vinyl coat or something?

I'm getting a good deal though, $950 for 17's w/ 95% A520's and I can pick them up and not pay shipping. Anyone know where I can see some pics of white subzeros on a white teg? I'm still undecided if these are the ones I want.

I have seen white subzeros before they don't look good. The paint is too glossy and they look cheap. Silver IMO is much nicer.

White rims are not "rice", unless the rest of your car looks like ****. Black rims are more "rice" than anything else. Especially when people paint them, it looks like crap

I think he means that people painting their rims and buying knock-off spoon **** (usually black) is ricey. Its so overplayed, just how altezzas became to be known as ricey.
