I was wondering if this is a factory Honda OEM LSD from a 89-91 Civic/90-93 Integra B16A cable tranny? Or is a Spoon LSD unit? Which company makes the LSD for Spoon (OEM Honda)? Last question would this unit fit into a hydro b16 tranny?

more pictures might help. What do you see when you look thru the hole?

 

I know its a LSD so I don't think that it matters but heres a pic of the hole.

 

my friend had a spoon lsd that looked just like that. apparently ats, cusco, kazz, and maybe a few others look very similar. quaifes look way different, never seen the oem one.

 

does anyone know for sure what LSD this is? And what it will fit?

i know its not oem or a spoon, looks like a kaaz, the ring gear monts the other way leading me to that conclusion, its definetly not stock, the stock ones are viscous type and are cone shaped and have 14 bolts on the ring gear, it will fit in a cable tranny as long as its a ys1 with the 4.4 final

 

Thought kaaz only makes clutch pack LSD's. This one looks like a gear driven (torsen). Thought honda LSD were torsen not viscous. I'm guessing factory honda, unless someone knows of aftermarket torsen other than quaife.

from the looks of the pics you have up top, it looks alot like my tranny, but I wouldn't know how that would help you if it was said that Spoon and a cable tranny LSD look alike.

I just picked up a Y1 tranny with LSD (I think the Stamp was spayed on or something )

as long as you can see through the hole it is a lsd, if it has a bar in the hole then it is closed diff
