Default Fully built b20 vtec project

NEWEST: yaaa cracked all four cylinders, thought it Was bad head gasket but NO So now it gonna be the project car and i Went and bought a 2007 civic Sedan Si hah, ima get a b18 bottom end, bore it out, Sleeve it and Swap over the internals , at least thats the plan

GOT IT DYNOED FINALLY made 231WHP and 180WTQ
made 4tq and 8hp off tune, the power band is SMOOTH

well ive been posting updates about my engine build on another website but have yet to post on here, heres a quick recap


i have a 93 civic hatch which did have a b16 sirII in it but i pulled it last weekend to replace it w/ a fully built b20vtec ive been workin on since october
heres some pics from pullin the engine








heres the b20 bottom end


- 12.3:1 compression weisco pistons
- eagle rods w/ arp bolts
- surfaced, bored 84.5 mm, line honed
- practically new crank

and as far as the head goes-im using a gsr head w/

-skunk 2 valve train w/ titanium retainers
-port and polish, 3 angle valve job
-skunk 2 stage 2 cams

i'll post some pics of the head here in the next couple days

thanks everyone

yup stock sleeves - not gonna boost so i should be good to go and i only had it overbored .5mm to smooth up the cylinder walls

jim stewart at stewart engines in indianapolis, IN is doing my headwork

he did head work on joe damaree's pro civic for NOPI, anyone heard of him? ran an 8.6 if im not mistaken

---im going to be buying itb's next year for it, then it should be even more fun

right now i just have an aebs IM and just bought an :::EDIT::: 65mm TB

---the header im gonna be running is a 4-1 megan racing header w/ a 2" collector

next year i will be upgrading to an smps or hytech header, then it should be even more fun

that header is going to <U>KILL</U> your set-up. i would defintiely try to invest in one before you get it tuned and running. either way

Damn 85mm throttle body!! Just kidding i hope its 65. Please do yourself a favor and get a nice header. But sick build gotta hand it to ya. P.S. what color is your car?

such a nice build, dont limit your power with the magan header, go for a pro-fab or something of that nature

haha whoops, thats a type o-meant 65mm TB.......ya i know that megan header is going to be really constrictive but with all the money ive put into this build i couldnt afford a better one......but doing this just allows me to have something to look forward to in the future by putting a better header and ITB's on it

thanks for all the interest, ill keep updating! im about to go weld on my radiator brackets and mount her up.....ill post pics here in a little while
