Well tought I would share some of my pics in progress with my EK4
New Engine Specs.
B16A2
CTR 0,5 OS pistons
CTR cams
Double Valvesprings
Alu Retainers
Blox IM
Homemade Air intake
5Zigen 4-2-1 Header with 2½" collector and 2½" Catback
Exterior:
Backyard special frontbumper
99-00 Rear bumper with CTR lip
Kosei K3 17" rims
ITR Calibers with 282 Rotors.

Made about 340 Hp and 317 Nm with 14 Psi, but just to aggresive for a daily driven car :-(

Car is at the painter right now, took me about 70-80 hours to do :-( I do not recomend doing this :-(
Motor is comming together as well, put the top on yesterday, looking really nice i think, a little bling bling he he.

NO its not getting that gold color LOL, its just easier to se dents and stuff, with some fresh paint on, its going to be gray as the rest of the car.
Engine is B16A2 so really can´t se the problem.

Lots of compression.
Not to mention the fact that the high-dome design of the PCT hinders flame travel inside the combustion chamber. Not to mention that hot spots form quickly with those.
On an LSVTEC, PCT pistons yield anywhere from the upper 12:1 compression range to the low 13:1 compression range.
That's alot to run on pump gas reliably. For one, you'll have to pull so much timing just to get it not to detonate that you'll end up making less power on somehting like 91 octane.
Some people like PCT's, and some people don't. I personally do not.
I was simply expressing my opinion.
