hey, i did a search and came up blank. could anyone tell me if there's any real difference between itr and gsr seats other than the material? i'd appreciate it greatly.

 

ITR seats have softer cushions because Acura's market research revealed that people who buy ITR's are pansies who can't handle the bumpy ride.

 

i believe the bottom and side bolsters are better.

The ITR seat cushion (the place where you sit) is softer on ITRs. All else is the same.

I like the harder seats as found in base model RS Integras.

 

k,, thats what i was looking for. I've got some sparco evo's in my sol right now and i was considering trading them out for some itr seats. i know how the gsr leathers are, and i dont really like them. i appreciate the response guys.

Actually, ITR and GSR seat pads are the same. Mike K posted about this a while ago and he says they are the same. Maybe wishful thinking on you guys' part, but the only difference is the cover.

damn, well that sux. would've swapped em if they were softer than the geezer leathers.

 

My gsr seats also have the 2 ***** for the support (driver side). Dont think the ITR's have those *****..

 

I wish I had GSR seats.

'98 GS-R fabric seats are the best (from Integra lineup)... height adjustable, side bolster is good, lumbar support is good. It seems to me the best bargain out there... I honest don't know why people would pay to get ITR seats when '98 GSR seats are 10x better with 1/2 the price tag.

Out of all Honda though... Del Sol seats roxors!

 

Dunno about that... I drove a 98 GSR for almost 3 years and like the ITR seats 10x better. To each there own. I say screw all thouse pos's and get some fiber shells

 

Yes, once you sit in a nice race shell you wonder why people even bother switching out stock seats for other stock seats.

 

All seat part numbers are the same for every component except for the skins.

 

False advertising on Acura's part.

 

I've re-upholestered GSR seats with ITR skins. They are identical except for the exterior fabric.
