Default My Project ls/vtec hatch out of hibernation

well i got my car running for this year after some wiring changes, new intake manifold, and some other stuff. i'm running it n/a for a while just to make sure there arent any bugs, then the turbo setup goes on.

here is a before picture of the then newly swapped ls/vtec. i cant seem to find my way before pics but i will see if i can find them and show the progression of the build.

after

some pics of car

still need to do a few things, put on my exhaust, get the front end aligned. then maybe paint in a few months or so. wheels i am so so on but they do the trick for now. let me know what you guys think.

the seats are "nex" my wife recovered the pads for me. bought them for cheap, but the pads were yellow its either paint or wheels and the body needs some love for sure, you cant see it in the pics though.

the motor is a semi-built ls/vtec, basically eagle rods/weisco's, blockgaurd, arp studs, crane cam springs, act xt-r6, phantom grip w/race springs.

heres another shot of the interior

yea from the pictures that you posted up, the body and the paint look perfect on your ride. how much hp are you going for? are you using ls tranny?

the front end is perfect, i got a set of doors, fenders, hood and front bumper from a friend that were mint and very close to the same color. the quarters are less than perfect. the tranny is the jdm b16a S1, i'm shooting for around 350hp on pump and maybe 4-450hp on some race gas.

the bumper is no longer available as i know it. a place called GTP used to sell it but i dont know if they do anymore.

yup BC stands for British Colombia

the car is a blast to drive, the car weighs around 2000lbs w/o me in it. the motor isnt really built for n/a(9:1 compression, jg edelbrock intake, 3" exhaust ) but it still hauls. got to take it out for its first maiden voyage this year tonight, its a beast haha... the exhaust is rowdy.

the intake i threw together out of old stuff. its just a 45deg 3" aluminum elbow my friend had lying around, a piece of 3" exhaust pipe painted black, some cheap-o couplers and a cheap filter.

the turbo setup is like 90% complete, just waiting on a few things. basic rundown is; holset hx35, precision intercooler, zdyne, tial wg/bov, 2.5" charge pipes, 3" downpipe. 880cc or 1000cc injectors(dunno yet) walbro pump thats about it.
