the 50A where it says IG in the engine bay fuse box blew. What could have caused that? and what is IG? is it ignition?

IG = ignition (ie powered by the key)
it could be a ton of things. What have you changed?

blown fuses usually results from a wire or somthing shorting to ground before it gets to the load. stick a 50 amp fuse in, does it blow right away? or does it blow when you try to crank the engine over? i hate intermittent electronic problems...pisses the hell out of me.

50A = 50 amps

IG = ignition

If you don't understand this I dunno if you can replace a fuse.

that might explain it. once i was messing with my cd player in my car and i shorted some wires to ground...i blew a fuse and i got confused as hell because my clock wouldnt work and **** so i checked all my fuses and found that i blew a 7.5 amp.
