how much whp are we really getting with I,H,E
an ebay intake, DC 4-1 header, and a full catback exhaust system.. how much whp do they really give u? i tried searching but didnt really find much. are they all together at least 3-5 whp?
I agree with above although I think best case scenario is 10 whp. More than likely (in my opinion) it'll be around 5-6 whp.

really bolt-ons are just helping the motor breath, but are needed with better upgrades like more agressive cams, higher compression, tunning, etc... the latter upgrades wont see as much gains with a stock airbox, headers, and exhaust. so basically the stepping stones to more n/a hp, but really not that significant of power gains right away.

Most definetely not. You won't gain 15 whp from basic I/H/E on a jdm GS-R motor. You might gain 5 whp or at most (and when I say at most, I mean when the sun goes out, the grass grows red, and the oceans turn to yogurt) 10 whp.

i dissagree, i guestimate i got atleast 10+whp (ill find out as soon as i get some passes). aem cai,dc jdm 4-1, hi. fl. cat, 2.5in b pipe (flow master 40 muffler)[i slaos got a bm fpr(49psi).(ive also read places that have said a 8whp difference in just a tr header to a normal liek dc 4-1 (i think it has a 2in collector and worse flow characteristics)

What I want to know is if you have all that already, how much can be gained from computer tuning?
I autox with a guy w/a ITR that had I/H/E who just picked up 15 whp by changing computers/tuning. Got me to thinking about my GSR...
