I was wondering the same thing. The flamenco has the same blue flake in it that the nighthawk does. I had a 99 3.0 CL and it was flamenco...as far as i can remember they are the same color.

What is the paint code for both of them? Mine is a 00 and says nhbp-xx? I thought only 01's came in that? Let me double check

FBP = black with lots of different colored speckles in it
NBP = black with only blue speckles in it

That's correct. I noticed much red sparkle in #009's paint while fixing her up...

The Flamenco has a tiny bit of blue flake (so little that you can hardly see it) and the Nighthawk has a lot of blue flake (so that it looks like a bass boat in direct sunlight). God bless my bass boat ITR.

the blue (and sometimes people see red and brown) in the FBP is almost a powder, it's very fine, so the paint has a flatter look.
The NBP has exclusively blue flakes, which are relatively large....when it's dark, and you shine a bright light directly on the paint, it looks more like insanely dark blue than it does black. This picture catches it pretty well on the crease in the door and the upper curve of the door, radiating from the flash

Don't worry -- if the US had been given CW in 2001 I would have gotten it no question. So why the hell did the Canadians get CW every year anyway? And red seats? WTF? Too many damn focus groups I reckon. j/k

I had a black (is black is black) RS... Stealth might be nice in an ITR, but CW is pretty stealthy... compared to PY.
