removing / removal of radiator / how to
This post is mostly for future searchers. People don't know how make a topic title, so I am doing it for them. Makes finding the info that you need MUCH easier. Topic titles like "radiator question" are worthless to someone wanting to know about removing it. /rant

Here is the good part about removing the radiator... I will add this: the stupid wiring clips on the back of the fan shroud sUx0rz!!1.
As far as getting it out its fairly simple, first drain whatever remaining coolant there is left in the radiator by opening the drain on the bottom of the passenger side of the radiator. Now depending on weather or not your car has a/c will change the difficulty, but either way its really easy. Remove the upper radiator hose, its easiest to just remove it altogether from the radiator and the head so that you can get your fingers in to remove other things. Now remove the bolts holding down the stock air box hose (if you still have one). Remove the 4 bolts holding down the radiator fans and remove the clips for the wire harnesses and unplug the passenger side fan and pull it up and out of the engine. Now remove the wiring at the right side of the driver side radiator fan and harness clips. Slide the driver side radiator fan towards the passenger side and then up and out, the a/c lines curl up infront of the driver side fan so you may have to temporarily unbolt the brackets that hold them down, do NOT unbolt the a/c lines from the condensor or the a/c compressor as you will have to recharge the system. Just remove bolts that will allow the lines to be temporarily moved to allow the removal of the driver side fan. Remove 4 bolts securing the radiator stays at each upper corner of the radiator. Remove the c-clip holding the overflow tube at the top of the radiator. Pull directly up on the radiator and rest it on the radiator support. Remove the lower radiator hose, it will flex enough to get it up to remove it, I found it easier to do this then to remove it from underneath as the clamp was not angled where i could get a set of pliers on it from there. Reverse removal for installation. Fill radiator w/ 50/50 mix and keep the cap removed. Start the engine and hold throttle partially open until the lower radiator hose begins to feel hot (thermostat has opened). To make sure the connections are correctly reconnected fast idle the car until the radiator fans come on. Squeeze the hoses while the thermostat is open to purge the system of air. Antifreeze will be leaking out of the open radiator at this time due to the expansion of the water/antifreeze so I usually use some rags around the radiator to absorb the excess. When both fans have turned on and then off, you can top off the radiator w/ coolant and cap it off. Now just spray down the engine bay w/ a hose to rid you of that awful coolant burning smell which you will have unless you spray it off. You're welcome.
