Getting parts for my H22 swap, will I be able to re-use my current (97 ls teg) axles if I use an accord intermediary shaft, or do I have to use the 90-93 teg axles? Dont want to buy new ones if I dont have to.
Yes, the accord 90-93 maybe 94+ not sure midshaft/halfshaft and 88-93 Integra axles are inner changable. I heard the 90-93 Integra axles on either side and the accord midshaft is the way to go on the DC 94+ tegs. If they dont work and are too big the 88-89 Integra axles are shorter about 1/4"-1/2".

Ok. Will I be able to use my current 97 teg axles with the swap, or will I have to get other ones. I have the accord intermediary, just want to know if I can use my current axles instead of having to swap them for DA axles.
I forgot to mention you will need to swap out the inner joint on the passenger side Accord joint is what you will need. But I would go about puttin the engine in sliding whatever axle you have in and use it as a reference to check out the lenght. Length wise I believe goes like this higher to smaller on axles 94+ teg, 90-93 teg, 88-89 teg. Then once you get your axle lenght and no problems in binding then swap the accord inner joint on it. The clips of the integra axle that hold the axle in the tranny on the passenger side does not go far enough in and clips in but the splines are the same. So this is the reason for the accord inner joint. Please someone kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Now that you bring it up... I couldve swore all B-series axels were the same. Everywhere on Honda-Tech says that you have to use 90-93 Integra axels with 90-93 Accord Intmediate shaft. Since you already have the axels I would try it out anyways and see if its actually true that you NEED the 90-93 axels. If not.. youve just proved everybody wrong.

Thats what I thought. I figured since you could swap motors in and out, then you could use the drivetrain too. Im gonna try it with my current axles and stuff first, then if I do end up needing those ones (and the inner joint), then I'll repost. Im gonna make a how to sorta thing once its finished with a complete parts list of stuff that did and did not work.

Good stuff.
Let me know when you get everything done.. I'm curious to see how its going to work out.
