Hello,
Newbie here and I will eventually have lots of questions but I will start with one about fog lamps.

I priced factory fog lamps at the dealer and they list for $355. I see many different ones on eBay for under $100. Is there anything I should watch out for if I decide to use aftermarket ones rather than factory. For $355 I have to assume that the factory housings are made of platinum and the bulbs must be made of unobtanium

quality bulbs are a factor other than price. A lot of aftermartket parts don't have factory specs and cuts which makes the fit look off, or stick out, or UGLY!

Try to go factory if you could.

i have ebay ones...and they do the job perfect for me..

Just get Ebay ones, they dont' really make a difference, all look the same

 

You can't beat Honda OEM parts. I personally wouldn't hack up my car for the ebay specials, especially living in a climate that gets salt put on the roads in the winter. I've seen a ton of cheap fogs rust out and not fit properly.
