why would you need aftermarket cams to use cam gears?? i gained 5hp across the board with my gears and i dont have aftermarket junk cams. if you work on your own car then you wouldnt be saying that chit!!! doing a tbelt every 20-30k is not an easy task....it aint like changing your oil

i dont have junk cams...matter of fact they cost about 900bucks if u think thats junk then i dont know where your getting your money but can i get in on that. i do work on my car and timing belt is a big job but u cant compare t/belts and oil changes...if u know how to do it..then do it.

AEM released a statement about their cam gear bolts basically sucking, and they have been replaced with newer bolts... of course, they are not volunteering to replace ones already purchased....
stcorsa.com has a new gear that is pretty nice. I just picked up a set. They have a "shoulder bolt" that eliminates slippage...

AEM camgears are okay...There might be better ones, yes. But if somebody knows how to pull screws even tight they are one of the best we can get here.
Have no problems with them.

I love my Skunk2's - but if I was to get a new set I would look into ENDYN's new gears. They allow you to zero out the gears on milled heads with different keyway slots. There are also nut and bolted together so you don't strip the cam gear itself out..... http://www.theoldone.com/components/camgears/

I mean, not to be a dick, but just out of curiosity, how do you spell ENDYN wrong when you post a pic of it and its written right there on the cam gear??
My buddy stripped the **** out of his Toda gears....No gears bolts or allen heads are strip proof.*I thought for sure Toda would at least use a 10mill instead of some SHITTY ALLENHEADS.Kinda odd for such nice gears.
