since there are a ton of b16 EFs, what kind of gas mileage are you guys getting, NA? list mods and bolt ons.
i have a 91 std hatch, with the first gen b16a, although it looks like its been changed to obd1 since an O2 sensor has been put in a custon bung on the header. i have the extremely short/close geared s1 tranny, so im at a lil over 4500 at 80 mph. i/h/e, and i get 28-29 city, and last night while driving to chicago and back, constantly passing at full throttle the ******** who cruise the speed limit in the passing lane
i got 37 mpg.
its probably an isolated incident, like when i got 38 mpg in my integra one trip up north, but i usually manage about 31-33 highway mpg.

I dont know how it is on us units but my civic is very economic...
It burns about 6-7litres for 100km if and dont use VTEC too often and dont riding above 100MPH. But if i'm doing WOT all the time thats another story. From 15 to 40litres/100km :D

7 liters per 100km is 33.5 miles per gallon

I've intake with K&N big filter and free flow exhuast.</TD></TR></TABLE>
i really dont understand what youre saying. if you wanna take gas efficiency ratings, just remember that 100 kilometers = 62 miles. and one gallon = 3.78 litres. also, having a good running engine with a header, intake and exhuast will improve your mileage.

If you are about to make a big trip here's a suggestion. If you have a 4.40 axle ratio (all trans except for EF8, B18A, B18B, CRV, or JDM ITR) and you run 195/50/15 tires, switching to a set of 195/65/15s like from a junkyard Saturn (4x100 steel rims) will make your car act like it has a 4.00 axle ratio. This means that you can cruise at 80mph with a lower RPM. This should imporve your MPG by ~10%. There will be a loss in off the line acceleration and your speedometer will read 10% low.
