99-00 Civic SI Gauge Cluster???
Hey guys, I just swapped a SI cluster for my 97 dx one...so i now i finally have a tachometer. One question...for those of you that have swapped clusters, or SI owners still with their stock clusters, is there a light source shining on the gauges, or do only the numbers light up in amber? I'm thinking only the numbers light up...but mine seem to have a lighted tinge to them...like there is a light shining on the cluster from above or something. Is it normal like this, or should the only illumination be from the amber letters/numbers? Thanks a lot guys...someone please help me!
Yeah dude i know what your talking bout, so dont feel bad. When i swapped out my cluster from a dx-->ex I would not get any lighting at all!!! but i still havent found what the problem is, althogh when i hit my alarm button the lights do turn off and on (on my cluster that is)
I don't know about the Si cluster, but the DX, ex and others have 2 lights at the top behind the blue film that project light on the gauges.
