im guessing it was imported as a "show car"...theres ways of doing it...have to find the right person..

and if u guys know of any shops that would want it also let me know...if they want to use it as a show car or a track car..

hey i hate to break it to you but based on the steering wheel that is in the car, i don't think it is actually a Model Year 1996 vehicle. That steering wheel came in 1995 R33 GTR's, the 1996's had a different style. Also, all 1996 R33 GTR's have dual SRS and I don't see that your car has a passenger airbag.

Lastly, can you confirm that your gauge cluster has the "ALSD" light in it to back up your claim that it is a Vspec?

I am potentially interested in the car.

yeah, if it doesn't have the passenger airbag it's definitely a 1995 then, unless the interior was ever gutted at some point then put back together with 1995 parts. the steering wheel is also 1995.

don't get me wrong, i think your car is super hot and i would consider owning it, i just didn't know if you were aware or not.

the japanese de-registration certificate should say "Hx" on it (x = #). Post that up and we can tell you the year.
