Default [pic request] TEIN s.techs on ej8/em1/ek's

hey guys

im getting very mixed responses in regards to this drop, some say its monster truckin, and some say its a pretty nice looking drop.

does anybody have pictures of their drop? i already have a set of these springs, but i want to see if i like the looks or if i should buy something else.

i can photoshop your car in return for a favor if you would like

thanks

I personally like them, they're a comfortable ride. I don't have the rears in yet but the fronts are good enough for me.

Sorry for the bad pics, I'll try and get some better ones when it isn't winter here in Minnesota.

I had them on my EJ8 coupe before.

They are too soft for my liking.

Riding on Tein SS coilovers now. Much better and stiffer ride.

I think they are Monster Truck 4x4 rides, the springs are way too soft, they're like stock ride imo.

its all depends on the kinda car you have. I know a guy with a 04 Wrx with s.techs and it drops it pretty low but on the 02's body style its truckin hard. My 94 Accord is pretty low but the 90-93's ride higher. I think the springs a good choice if your a daily driver.

sorry mr rich man. i go to school full time, and manage to work on the side to save up a little to mod. then you come along making people who buy s.techs sound like poor asses.

if you have nothing constructive to say, dont say it.

go buy me some coil overs and ill be more than glad to use the "pricey" stuff.

Here's 2 pictures of cars on Tein S-Tech.

Mines when I first basically had the car, and I threw Tein S-Tech on there, hated the height, ride rode like stock.

My friends..still sitting the same height..

Mines was on stock 15" wheels. His is 16" wheels, for some reason black cars don't look as high though.

S techs on my EM1

Not the best side shots to see the drop, but its nice, its not slammed, not tucking any tire, but im low enough to where i look dropped, just not crazy low. i rarely scrape stuff, and with stock shocks the ride handles just as good as stock over bumps and such

what kind of shocks you guys using with them? i owned a set for my ej8 last year but sold them before i installed them. now i'm thinking about buying another set for a moderate drop. sometimes, the cars look low and others they look the same.

I was using stock shocks on tein s-tech, so is my friend. They were fine, the drop is like a very mild drop. Spring rates on those springs are very soft. My friend had them on his stock shocks for more then a year or two already, still rides fine.
