You can DIY it. I think most people DIY it which isnt hard then they sell it on ebay i could be wrong. Dunno if the CD chassis came with them blackhoused from the factory but i dont think they did.

you can do one of three things...

1.) look on a genuine jdm distributor website to see if they either have or can source genuine SiR black housing headlamps...they only came on the cd6 and cd8 chassis'...they could cost anywhere from $300 used to $600 new...

2.) keep checking ebay for the knock-off Depo black housing headlamps...a lot of big name automotive websites have these as well...they will cost somewhere around $275-300...

3.) DIY...by doing it yourself, you save a lot of time, but only an afternoon and money on flat black high temp paint...the gist of it is to remove your headlights (have to remove the bumper first) and then stick them in a oven to melt the glue and silicon sealing...while still warm, remove them from the oven and gently pry the clear lenses off the housing with a flat-head screw driver or some other similar tool (remembering to be gentle as they are very warm and delicate, succeptable to deformations in the plastic)...after you remove the lenses, tape off the area inside that you wish to remain silver...in this case it will be the shroud around the bulb...you can print out a picture online if you need for guidance...after doing this, paint the headlamps with about 3 even coats of high-temp black paint...after it's dry, use black silicone caulking to reseal the lenses, making sure not to leave any holes (otherwise moisture will leak into the headlamps and make them foggy)...then reinstall those badboys and there you go...you can find, in plentiful sources, the jdm knock-off corners online for $30 or so to complete the look...

hope that helps...

This is the option I went with. I used a heat gun to speed up time and only heat the glue and not the lens or assembly.

I got the jdm black rimmed corners from Pro Car Parts off ebay...

Just DIY, cost equal's 5 dollors. Drop the headlights in the oven cook it for 10-12 minutes under 300degress. Take them out pop them open tape it up paint them.

These are old pics of my car now theres a CF hood , DIY grill , Amber bumper lights.

I was just about to put up some Accord headlights for sale but i wasnt too sure how much to really ask for them. I bought them off ebay a few years ago for $500 and never took the time to put them on my CD7 and then it got stolen a last March. If your interested in them send me a pm.

Heres some pics:

those are actually for a CF chassis accord, 97+ japan only model, they wont fit any accords in the US without extensive body modifications...

I'm a little puzzled as to where you actually paint. To me the entire inside of my headlamp looks like reflectors and mirrors. Will this make more sense once I have taken it apart? I think I am going to go this route since you already have to take the bumper off to install the headlamps anyway, might as well save a few bucks.
