Default Secondary oxygen sensor wiring

Hope someone can help me out...

Way back when I was taking off the exhaust and I forgot to unplug the secondary oxygen sensor, so when I pulled out the exhaust it pulled the wiring right out of the connector, the oxygen sensor came out whole, but it took the wiring harness connector with it leaving just the wires, I guessed and put them back in and that was wrong per a computer test last night, and of course it doesn't tell you the order that they go in the book, it tells you the sensor side order but not the connector side order. If someone could check for me or snap a pic or something I would greatly appreciated it. My tags die at the end of March and I have to pass VA emissions , which is not going to be easy in itself (itr engine in a civic that has to pass civic emissions )

Thanks for all your help
Chris

I have the diagrams at home, since I make 2ndary o2 sensor foolers for local ppl.....

Let me see if I can post it up for you when I get home.

You could always backpin them to the ecu and check that way if necessary (with a volt meter).....

DOH!!!
Thats for the sensor side I ripped the wires out of the harness side of the connector.
The wire colors are:

green
green w/ red stripe
black w/white stripe
blue w/red stripe

what order do they go in relationship to the connector or the wires that they plug in to?

those wire colors do not match any 96-00 civic or 98-01 teg harness.
which harness are you using?

based on your second post about this....
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1565940
"2000 ITR secondary oxygen sensor wiring"

the '00 ITR secondary wiring is as follows:
ECU pin - harness color - connector # - O2 color
A23 - red/blue - 1 - white
C18 - green/blue - 2 - green
12V - black/yellow - 3 - black
A8 - green/red - 4 - black

He clearly doesn't know the location of the pinouts on the connectors either though.....

Must have been colorblind, I was using a flashlight

so:

red/blue to white
green/blue to green
black/yellow to black
green/red to black

huh, there are two black wires on the O2 side, well at least we cut it down to a 50/50 chance down from 256 total possibilities

Does either of the black wires on the O2 side have a stripe or a dash or something? they have to be marked differently in some way.

and thanks for helping out too Relic, 100 cool points to you too

the two black wires are the heater, it doesn't matter which direction the power flows through it. So take you're pick.

Should be 4! factorial possibilities with 4 wires. 24 wire combinations.

1234, 1243, 1324, 1342, 1423, 1432
2134, 2143, 2314, 2341, 2413, 2431
3124, 3142, ...

I took some pics last night, but didn't get a chance to upload them.

In any case, these guys are correct.

I'll confirm this evening - it was quite dark and even with the flash, the pics didn't turn out the best.....

The helms manual does confirm what Relic1 is posting, however.....

But I though the two bottom wires (black on o2 sensor side) were grounds for the heater and signal.....

*it should also be noted that the HELM manual denotes the pinouts on the car's plug from left to right, top to bottom, with the clip being at the top, and from the wiring side of the plug (female plug, btw):

Can anybody verify the pin locations for the sensor side connector of a 1997 ITR Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor? The O2 sensor has the same color wires (black, black, white, green) but the harness colors are different (trying to remember from yesterday, but I think it was something like black/yellow, purple, red, and I do not remember the other color).

I went ahead and connected it as Ken mentioned above, but I would appreciate if somebody could verify it before I attempt to crank my theft recovery. Thanks!

Also, I already checked part numbers to see if the sensors were identical to double check, but 97-98s have different part numbers than 00-01s.

Sensor, RR. Oxygen
1997-1998 36532-P2R-A01
2000-2001 36532-P75-A01
