I tried to install a DC Sports 4-2-1 header made for a type-R on a GSR and the end of the header was about 3-4inches too long. I was wondering if I bought a World Sport exhaust made for a type-R would it all go together on a GSR?

 

what year is your GSR, because the 00-01 GSR should bolt right up, they are the same lenght as the type-r Cat, otherwise you would have to get a new cat or extend your cat i believe, i always get it mixed up, maybe somebody can elaborate more on here

its a 97 gsr, only reason im asking is bc i got a free header but its for the integra type-r

 

Cut down your exhaust for the cheapest route.

Other wise just pick up a type-r exhaust for that year the header is for.

 

i had the exact same problem. All i did was cut the piping and brought the cat a little further down to bolt right onto the falange. And then just welded the piping together. Worked fine with me.
