Default What can you do to a 3rd Gen to increase perfromance?

Im thinking about picking up an old-school project car. I was lookin into the 3rd gen Lude but dont know what can even be done to increase performance on them? Are there any "standard" motor swaps for these cars? They come with a crappy form of a B-series in them correct? What can you do to the cars? And yes I searched

Hard to say "standard" swaps. But you can put H22 in 3rd gen with some work

For some info contact Root79 here. He did some of these swaps. And he's able to fabricate necessary engine mounts.

Ok, so check it out. First of all http://www.preludepower.com <-anything you need is there.

Second, H22 swap is gonna be difficult and cost easily 3k unless you happen to have everything handed to you for free.

Honestly, if you want a cheaper and more productive and expandable base, turbo the b20/a5.
Additionally, if you're serious, this engine is begging for air, so port out the TB, IM and runners, just open her up and clean her out. Header is a must (N/A) as most give a respectable bump in HP.
