Doesn't the MSD need to be like 2 feet from the ECU? I had mounted mine on the pass side floor board, and asked one of the techs at MSD if it was alright, but he said it was too close to the ECU, and could cause interference. I never investigated further. Mine is my engine bay, where the battery use to sit.

Does the length of the coil wire have any affect on performance. I want to mount the ignition setup on my EF inside the passanger compartment near ecu because there is no room under hood. will that affect spark?

i think he is talking about the coil wire. not the wires from the box to the coil. coil to dizzy. i immagine you could mount it in the car, i have seen a firewall pass through that muscle car guys use, but i would want the coil wire short.

I had it mounted in the cabin on the passenger side floor in my R. You couldn't see it . I also placed it under my seat in my old hatch.
