hope that's not a serious spelling of anyways!
I a skunk2 proseries intake mani on my boosted D. I like it. I liked it even the 3 times i drove it n/a with the mani. I won a bid on ebay, 132.98 shipped to my door brand new
Skillz!
Stay away from the n/a parts like a header or anthing like that. Just start slowly pieceing together your kit. I pieced my kit together for about 1500
bmc mani
T3 super 60
2.25 ic piping jet coated black
tial style 38mm wastegate
greddy type s style bov
fmic
arp head studs, installed by me
cometic hp(.040 thickness) hg, installed by me
precision 440cc injectors
obd1 chipped p28 ecu
convo harness
vacc. mani, not a must, but it helps
skunk2 intake mani
3" RLD-fab downpipe with flex section
that's what i pieced together for a little under 1500, its not bad. I did by the knocked wastegate and bov, but they function the same, and since greddy discontinued the type s it was hard to find. I do still need a clutch, tho my stock clutch is holding up to 220 whp. But i dont launch it or slam gears, yet. but clutch is up next

no sir u cannot use the greddy header since you need a turbo manifold..so its either go header or turbo..i'd go with turbo but if money is a problem (which you said its not) then i'd go for turbo..but comparing a whole turbo kit to a header is kind of a big difference
Soory man i still new at this, so let me get this is so i can use d16 skunk manifold for turbo? and i dont need to buy no aftermarket header, keep stock? Confusing i apologize

A turbo mani with replace a aftermarket header/or stock exhaust mani. It doesnt matter, you dont need a intake mani(be it skunk2 or edelbrock, jg, blow, etc). The stock intake mani will be fine.
if you go to the darkside, youll need a turbo mani, not a header
if you go to the darkside, youll need a turbo mani, not a header
so if i dont go turbo, then just worry about a header and leave the manifold stock, but if i do and i will go turbo leave headers stock and just get the skunk 2 or edelbrock turbo manifold got it right? All this makes me wander cuz my friend going turbo and he's done bought all his parts for his hatch d16 but he never upgraded his manifold it's still stock.
well i think your still confused.
When we are talking about skunk2, edelbrock mani, we are talking about intake manis. Not turbo manis.
The turbo mani is on the exhaust side. The intake mani is well, you know. 2 different things we are talking about.
you dont need a aftermarket intake mani wether you are boosted or not. Its just a upgrade from stock.

ok well i was reading searches on here like a min ago and i got more info on everything and also to get the 68 mm throttle body from skunk2 also, i was doing deep searches, and so went on ebay and bought the skunk2 manifold for 229 with free shipping...I basically wanted to know if i could use it with turbo and which manifold was the best i came up with jg which didnt c for d series, and edelbrock but i like skunk so i bought that..
